It's My BIRTHDAY :)

Good evening friends!

Today (November 18th) is my birthday! #teamScorpio where you at? :D

Yesterday I didn't post anything on Steemit because I was quite busy, mostly making a cake and getting ready for the night out. My friend's birthday was last weekend but since he didn't celebrate it, we decided to celebrate together on Friday, November 17th. We know each other since we were 8 years old and we have a lot of mutual friends, so celebrating together was a great idea!

I found out about this cool party on Facebook, it was at the place where I used to go out a lot and it was my favorite place for partying in Novi Sad. Since I'm not that into going out last year or so, I was really looking forward to remind myself how is it to dance the night away and come home in the morning. Music selection for this Friday was 2000-2010 range so it included the first songs in English I listened to as a kid, some major hits from my clubbing days and everything in between. Oh boy, this night brought so many memories.

Of course, I had to take a selfie when I got ready but I wish I took one in the AM, just for comparison and laughs

Before clubbing, we all went to have a round (or two) of drinks at a very cool cafe as a little bit of a warm up. We were talking, telling silly jokes and laughing, having a great time.

The only picture I have from the party is this selfie (again) with my long time friend Olja. I had to actually save this photo from her Instagram, haha! Anyways, I didn't take any pictures there because it was quite dark and to be honest, I was dancing and having such a great time, that I wasn't even thinking about taking pictures. Four of us came home at 5.15am! What can I say? It was a damn good night!

So today, on my actual birthday, I was pretty much dealing with a hangover and I lost my voice... again! I spent the day with my family, cut the cake with my niece and nephew. Jana was singing birthday songs to me and Danilo had no idea what is going on. I didn't even tried the cake, thanks to my friend Hangover. But there's more left so tomorrow I will get a piece. Tomorrow I will also have a couple of friends coming over to my house in the evening.

So that's it, my friends! My birthday weekend story. It was definitely fun and I'm glad I got to spend it with my close friends and family, even though some of them were missing and my favorite person in the world was not there, but I know I'll make it up when I get to see everyone again!

Today I am grateful for another number added to my age, for another year on this planet and for the people I have in my life!
