Papa Bear is always on the lookout for interesting photographs. From these photo's many amusing blogs have been created. I took these Model T photographs a few days ago, and I'm happy to share them here with my blogging friends.
Vintage Ford Model T
The Model T was produced from 1908 thru 1927 by the Ford Motor Company. The engine had 20 HP and could achieve speeds of 40-45 MPH. Automobiles had been produced since the 1880's, but this was the first built on an assembly line and priced for the middle class. With 16.5 million sold the Model T still stands eighth on the top ten list of most sold cars of all time.

Henry Ford said of the Model T:
I will build a motor car for the great multitude. It will be large enough for the family, but small enough for the individual to run and care for. It will be constructed of the best materials, by the best men to be hired, after the simplest designs that modern engineering can devise. But it will be so low in price that no man making a good salary will be unable to own one – and enjoy with his family the blessing of hours of pleasure in God's great open spaces.
