I am of the firm belief that the habit of practicing gratitude on a daily basis is the key to shifting our lives in a positive direction. This is not only the expression of gratitude for the positive things in our lives, but also for the challenges which we are often faced with.
But sometimes, we can get wrapped up in our day to day existence and agenda, and it is not that we aren’t grateful, but rather that we simply forget to actually verbalise it or take the time to offer it a moment of dedication even in thought.
It is also true that surrounding yourself with the positive attitudes and mind-set of others, that it has a ripple effect on yours too…
Welcome to the #GratitudeTrain No. 4

So for ALL of us, including myself, I have decided to start this #gratitudetrain. We all spend a good portion of our lives here browsing through our Steemit feeds, so why not build a positive habit in the process. I think it will be great to share something every day that we are grateful for in our lives, no matter how big or small it may be.
Whether it is a new career path, a new hobby, an achievement of your child, a new relationship, a challenge overcome or simply a new pair of shoes… it doesn’t matter! There is without question… ALWAYS something we can take a moment to be grateful for!
GratitudeTrain #4 -
Today I am grateful for all the amazing people I have in my life - both family and friends, near and far - that no matter what, have stuck by my side through thick and thin. They have been ears for me, shoulders for me... we have shared so so much together and my life is so much richer because of each and every single one of them
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
......
Step 1.
So starting today, in the comments section of #gratitudetrain post No. 1 – write something that you are grateful for in your life and start it with the number… as in if this is the first time you are sharing on the #gratitudetrain, then write the number “1.” And then state what you are grateful for.
Step 2.
Keep a record of your #gratitudetrain expressions shared in the comments somewhere in a word doc or such.
Step 3.
When you reach 30 – then publish a post on your own profile and be sure to use the #gratitudetrain tag or to tag me @jaynie in the post.
As simple as that!
The idea of this being, that not only will you develop a healthy and positive habit but at the end of 30 days when you share your own post, you will be able to reflect back and realise, just how MUCH GOODNESS there is in your life!

#4 - For today's #gratitudetrain, I am grateful that while my body is doing bizarre and stupid things, my family is there to pick up my slack - cleaning the house, making meals, shopping, and doing laundry. It's making a difficult situation so much easier to manage.

Yes, in life we find negative aspects so easily and these aspects make our life more difficult, but why not change our vision towards life and let's showcase gratitude towards whatever we have and whatever small or big thing we are doing, and most importantly showing kindness towards others because this way everyone can live peacefully. I missed two days of expressing my Gratitude so I have a couple to make up for.
I am Grateful for my new job at a health spa. I have been spending my work hours outside in the gardens, digging and trimming like a good worker ant should.
I am Grateful for an entire new group of people moving into our
Co-operative house. I can prepare now to move on to new things.
I am Grateful for my early morning bike rides to work. The streets are quiet, the skies a blacky blue, the rabbits and deer wave white flags in retreat. They'll get used to me treading my squeaky pedals past them eventually.
am grateful for my life. there are those of us who toil and suffer to survive. We are privileged to be healthy and alive. War-torn countries are less privileged as their citizens suffer in the hands of the harsh governments.

I am grateful for the strength to babysit my neigbour's child. I'm learning how to be a mother
No. 4 I am grateful for my husband who sees me day in and day out, and he has come to realise my weaknesses and strength but he never judges me. He is the main breadwinner of the home and has really laid down alot for the foundation of the family. He is the best head of home and I hope I can support him well as the neck. lol
