Chrissi (Greek: Χρυσή or Chrisi, "golden", also known as Γαϊδουρονήσι - Gaidouronisi "donkey island" is an uninhabited Greek island 15 kilometres (9 miles) south of Crete close to Ierapetra in the South Cretan Sea. A must if you want to experience gorgeous seas that are uninhabited (in off-season) but still not commercialized!

I love that island! 😍Greece is my second home.

Good to hear! :)

Πολύ ωραια παραλία! Είναι από τις λίγες που δεν έχουν κατακλυστεί από τους τουρίστες!

Would love to visit ;) ✌

You should. Greece is gorgeous and still relatively inexpensive.

love this picture, I can almost feel the ocean breeze..

I took this in May. A perfect time of the year to go.

is it open visa place 😃 ?

So .... are you a Cretan?

No. My mother was from Syros but I mostly divide my time between Athens/Crete when i'm there.

This place so beutifully, someday i wanna to visit there. Btw, in my country, the island so beutifull like there also, i will give you a recomendation to visit Bali, Sabang, or the Other place inIndonesia. Have a nice holiday for you Friends.

I am dying to go to Indonesia! Thank You!

Love this place, I couldn’t believe how beautiful and peaceful it was when I visited :)

Καλημέρα.. έχω χρόνια να πάω.. είναι απο τα ωραιότερα μέρη του πλανήτη

It is! One of my favorites too..

Wow! Did you stay the night there? Or is there anywhere to sleep on an uninhabited island, besides the sand? It's beautiful!

No... I think you can only camp there and at that you have to have a permit if i'm not mistaken. They really protect it. Only accessable by boat and they know exactly where everyone is (don't ask me how) :)
