You're post was saying asking for upvotes is against policy. You copied the first part where it said it. I said it was only part of the contest and copied the 2nd part. (part 2 is the posting for the introductions) You actually covered both in your post.
No you didn't say anyone was making you and that was what I was saying ..no one is making you.
And to be honest with you after spending the past hour or so re-reading the FAQs, the bluepaper and whitepaper. It is an etiquette issue. There is no 'policy' that states you cannot ask for upvotes. It's frowned upon but in no way is a 'policy' violation. Mainly due to the fact there really aren't policies.
The introductions on the greetersguild page are not a 'resteem'or a copy paste. They are of the nature of 'I came across 'person x' the post was written very well, I like how they showed their artwork or I like how they presented themselves or their personality really comes through. If you get the chance please check them out.
Have fun. Sorry this contest doesn't interest you and you're missing out on an amazing group of people that really do want to increase the quality of is out there. Wouldn't be better to work on building people up to help them reach a goal, which in turn comes back to you?
I'm about the understanding and conversation and you're right you should not be penalized for what you think and feel. That is your right. I found what you said conflicting. Which is why I questioned it. Through this conversation. You made me re-look at things. I love that. I love when a conversation will make me think differently. While an upvote for a contest and the reasoning behind it I personally don't have an issue with, I do see why others do. To me there are 'bigger fish to fry' LOL
I do approach issues with a resolution in mind. It's how I am. To me learning from both side and coming to a resolution that brings out the best in both side is optimum, it's not always possible.
If I came of short. I didn't not mean to. Some see it as a strength, sometimes I think it's a curse. I'm direct and it bothers a lot of people.
Thanks :) It happens, I'll keep chugging away at it. Currently working with Newbieresteemday, minnowsupport, and nows greetersguild. I guess I just haven't found my niche yet.

At least you tried! Great responses and just too bad they fell on deaf ears... Are you in one of the minnow groups?
