So @dutch, what term do you prefer:
Crunching, BOINC, or something else entirely?
Crunching, researching, BOINCing - all great. Just not mining, because it has those POW connotations.
That makes sense. You don't want people to confuse Gridcoin with a Poof of Work system that wastes power instead of a Proof of Research system.
Even 'mine' is great, because it makes people go "Hm, why is that in quote marks?".
Yeah I agree, I find myself using "mine" sometimes because it makes more sense to new users.
