Just want to tell you that I found my old tablet on Android which was not in use and I decided to setup there Boinc, as inside the Grcpool stats I saw that some projects it's possible to mine on Android.
There are several versions, I installed both, but there is no way to connect to Grcpool.com
So if I'm right, it's not possible to mine Grc on Android, although it's possible to make Boinc account and research some other projects.
Also I noticed "Gridcoin faucet" app, installed it but it was not impressive, it had links to faucet.asia (old site which now doens't exist, I remember it worked several months ago) and Eobot. So I uninstalled it, as saw no use.
On tablet I put later "Minergate" app, and mine Monero now) But it's another topics, and as I understood it's possible to earn few bucks a month only, but I'll continue to mine for testing purposes.
I'll be able to buy Gridcoin on Bittrex any time)
It is possible to "mine" GRC on your android device. You have to manually add grcpool.com to the app. There's a good video tutorial how this works:
Exactly - 100% possible and done by many. Just make sure you pick a project that has Work Units for your device.

Adding my 2 cents...
If you do not want to add grcpool.com as your account manager you can still earn GRC in solo-gridcoining mode by doing boinc tasks for your boinc projects you added manually as long as your boinc project accounts also joined Team Gridcoin.
And as long as his balance is high enough to stake in a reasonable time frame :)
