Unfortunately that is unacceptable. Content written by others needs to be quoted and referenced. You also need to add additional comment/value before you may post it. Below is an example of a little reference from the Steemit Frequently Asked Questions:
"If you are posting plagiarized or copied content, you can get in legal trouble for violating copyright laws. Plagiarized posts and spam are seen as abuse and will be downvoted by community members. ... you must ensure that you have the rights to use the content, and properly reference the sources where you got the material from." - Steemit FAQ
You may NOT present other people's work as your own. You may NOT claim other people's mistakes as your own. Combining the work of two or more authors does NOT make it your content. Correcting (some) information to be relevant to the time of posting also does NOT make it your own. Adding images does NOT make you the author of the text.
