RE: Gridcoin TUI wallet v0.3 for linux

in #gridcoin7 years ago

There you go! Now that is great! Personally on a Linux box I want CLI and to be able to SSH and maintain things vs having to use VNC and GUI and normally have HTOP running on every open connection , I could see myself using this on all of my Linux nodes I have running donated to the community and the cause. I look forward to seeing your progress , please make sure to log your time spent on this and submit to them for your $30hr or maybe $60 if that passes. This here is actually IMO a further advancement and contribution to Gridcoin and the community then the buggy continuous mistakes causing us to upgrade client versions constantly and you need to be paid for your time and efforts. Hell this is more of a value added asset to the community and the Gridcoin project than the 90% released grcpoool software and BGB got paid like 20k GRC for that crap , I think you deserve ( if a vote needs to be set then someone please help him out ) payment for your time and contribution!!

Oh man... Thx :D

The dev expenses don't cover this unfortunately, you should include a gridcoin address in your post/repo for donations though 👍

Yes, I know it. The $60/hr is only spent for hardcore c++ wallet development.
Hm. I can't even imagine if somebody wants to donate for it, but I'll give it a try. ;)

The developer compensation is mainly used for development on the wallet itself. Still though, I'm positive people will donate if you put a donation address in your future posts!

Thanks guys! Wow, I've got my first donation! \o/
