Sorry I'm unclear. If for example someone decided to point a server farm at the project, they'd probably destroy any competition from newcomers pointing a single or two home desktops at the projects, thus destroying their chance to get any meaningful magnitude.
They would actually lower (by a lot)their own magnitude and help many new users. Their mag will be reduced to the average of the GRCStarter mag after their huge RAC was added.
I just about to say that, yes they would increase their mag but also that of others, everbody wins, but farms can would be better to stick where they are and occasionally crunch grcstarter to gelp noobies
just to be clear -- if a host crunching a different project is producing relative RAC greater than the average RAC of GRCStarter@home, and if this host joins GRCStarter@home, they're Mag will most likely decrease.
Any RAC added to GRCStarter@home increase the mag of those with a RAC lower than the GRCStarter Average RAC and decrease the mag of those with a RAC higher than the GRCStarter Average RAC.

Fair enough, I misunderstood something then :)
