I do play, but just as a hobbyist. So no matter if it's "war" in it, I more think of it as an opportunity for a collaboration between starters, intermediate and pro-musician. We can all learn from each other. Especially us from you pro guys.

The idea is simple, we pick or create a nice backing track with good enough harmony / complexity so anyone could be jammed over it in any style he prefers. We can be the first one to start, create a hashtag such as "steemitshredwars" and publish our work over the same track, and invite others to join.

Then we can, once in a while edit that to make collaborative video showing the different styles played over the same backing.

I think people would enjoy that, and interact with each other. Not to get me wrong, the idea is not to show who is better, just to play around, have a great time and form a guitarists community here.

If you like, be first to pick the backing track :) I can't promise i'll jump into it same day/week due to amount of projects, but rest assured Im going to get into it. :)
