I am a social activist. I really care about about science. But I was in BOINC when GRC was worth 900+ satoshis, and I can see now what the situation is... I will give another attempt though for week, let's see!
Gridcoin doesn't really require much extra of your computer - so if you're running BOINC already, then go ahead and set up GRC - it's kind of like a little present for the efforts.
Consider this too, most research done thanks to BOINC is made public and benefits all universities and labs all over the world that in itself is huge. I started in the early 2000ths and never stopped since with highs and lows, of course it would be nice to see GRC at high values but for that every user counts, every machine is important so join the fight and don't give up :)
