"I have stopped with a lot of the data posts because with the down turn and negative trend, they were not helping to motivate people. "
I don't agree. Perhaps it is because you're thinking of a particular kind of motivation in a particular audience. I know your data posts have motivated me to reconsider and further develop my understanding of Steemit and Steem, and am confident hard facts affect different communities according to their missions.
Lastly, even plankton benefit from such factual information. I reckon a lot of the reason retention is so poor is inaccurate understanding of emuneration on Steemit, and good data will help good people to make good decisions.
Thanks!
that is rather interesting. With the downtrend in all stats my feelings were that is was giving redfish a bad impression. Data only tells one side of the story, the other side is that now things are quiet, its so much easier to find good content and active users. Its an awesome time to build a core and grow more dolphins so when the next wave comes, we will be in a better position to deal with the influx. Maybe its a pipe dream, but maybe not. However I take on board what you are saying and will reconsider my position on it :-)
