The jury sided with the famous cat in a recent court ruling, which awarded a very nice chunk of change to Grumpy Cat. After a 3 year long court battle, the owner of Grumpy Cat won the dispute against a local Arizona brewing company for using the image and name of Grumpy Cat to sell more products than the original agreed upon beverage.
The judge awarded $700,000 to Grumpy Cat and a very pleased owner(Tabatha Bundesen). This ruling pushes the net worth of Grumpy Cat to an astounding $100 million dollars. That is a lot of cat nip!
