I'm Pagliacci22, today I will give some recommendations and different tips when writing a fanfic, it could be considered as a mini "guide" but I really just want to help everyone who wants to start with their projects.

Recommendations and inspiration.
Well, mostly when it comes to writing I like to start with a small situation between the different characters and then go full on with the whole plot. Most of my ideas at the time of narrating my things come from my dreams, I was told that it becomes something strange, since I'm not very related to writing; but I do to reading.
If I want to develop a specific plot, it can be complicated for me because of what I said before. Mostly I write more or less simple mysteries or adventures, short stories and very short stories, novels is something that I find quite difficult because it takes something called...
Discipline.
This is one of the most fundamental things as a writer. You have to write and read a lot, it doesn't matter what it is as long as you read and have some discipline in these areas. It will help you a lot to see different styles, some of them may not be to your liking, but I still recommend you try them if you have never done it before. For example, horror is one of my least favorite genres when it comes to reading something, but I have read some stories by authors of this genre like...
"Edgar Allan Poe"
Of the best writers, recognized for his horror manuscripts, he also got to write comedy and adventure
"Algernon Blackwood"
Horror writer, recognized for his great setting in his stories.

Recommendations for beginners!
I'll recommend you some three authors that would help you a lot when writing your stuff, they have their own style and I'm sure you'll manage to have some of their writing as your favorites.
"Anton Chéjov"
He has a very unique style on realism, he is also very well known for his short stories
"Cervantes Saavedra"
By name you may not know him, but he is the creator of the historical novel "Don Quijote de la Mancha". (I have to warn you that it can be "complicated" to read since the dialect of his works is somewhat old)
"Arthur Conan Doyle"
You probably already read something of this gentleman, creator of Sherlock Holmes and different stories of the detective genre.
Remember to always keep looking for what you can read according to your style. For each person there is a book, your duty is to look for it and appreciate it.
Poetry.
Read poetry, lots of it. At the beginning I didn't like it too much, but thanks to start reading about my favorite authors I discovered that it is something necessary for every reader. It helps you see more of the writer's life, his thoughts, ideals and opinions. Search whenever you can, surely your favorite writer has something.

Storytelling
These were some recommendations of some authors to start reading something, I would also recommend you to practice a lot the "Storytelling" which, as its name indicates, is simply your way of writing the story and narrate it for the reader.
You have to have a clear objective when doing this, let's say you wake up one day and you had a dream in which you dreamt about a very funny situation, or about a giant world in which you want to give it your own colors.
For example: You want to make the beginning of your story, you start thinking about how it could be better to do it and when you realize you haven't written anything. The main thing is to start with anything, whatever you consider interesting.
Ex)
It was a cold morning in Manhattan, the Doctor Witz was sound asleep; given his work with the different experiments. He would hear different knocks coming from the door of his home and thanks to this he would end up waking up due to the insistence of these constant knocks. To his surprise, when he finally got up from his bed and went to the noise, it turned out to be his dear friend Sasha! Saying good morning and inviting him to share her breakfast for another day.
This is a clear example of how you can start a novel in a normal way, you can do it in different ways, but it always has to be one that pleases you, good reader. Another way could be...
Ex)
I woke up, started hearing different noises from somewhere and it took me a while to identify that they were coming from the front door.
—Who could it be at this hour? —I wondered getting up from my bed, I was quite tired from the hard work I was involved in lately. I stretched a little and before leaving the bathroom I brushed my teeth, I started to walk slowly to where these noises were coming from. Insomnia is playing several tricks on me since yesterday, but nevertheless I opened the door and put on my best face.
To my luck, it was my dear friend Sasha! We greeted each other happily, I was really glad to see her so early, she invited me to have some breakfast at her home. I was about to make some excuse, but I liked having breakfast with her; without further ado I decided to accept and we happily went to her house while we chatted on the trip.
This is another way to start a story. We focus on one character and it is as if he is telling us everything from his point of view, as if he were writing the story and narrating it to all of us. Choose the form you feel comfortable with, respect it and if you want to make some kind of change, don't make it so abrupt.

A common mistake.
Instead of writing the dialogues like this:
-Hello - said Juanito.
I put them like this:
-Hello- said Juanito
The second dash should be attached to the verb with whatever comes when the narrator speaks. The same with the third dash, if the dialogue continues after the "he said" or the narration of an event in between.
-I don't understand," I spoke directly to his face, "explain it to me, I ask you.
This way it would be well written. Also the comma and the period will be placed when they have to correspond in the dialogue.

A good cover and synopsis
Every good book comes with a good cover, (or maybe not) but a synopsis that is interesting is necessary. It tells what your writing will be about in a way that catches the attention, generates that intrigue, that makes you want to read your work. Ex)
The life of Doctor Witz had become quite monotonous with the passing of time in Ponyville, thanks to a recent discovery he decides to undertake a journey throughout Equestria to find some ancient books that reveal information forbidden by Celestia herself. Will she succeed? Find out in this story. Also, as for the cover, you could put whatever you want. I recommend that it be something related to the story, the title of the writing, some icon that represents well the main character or maybe something that is recognizable for the story itself.
A pretty simple cover I made some time ago, you can do it as you see fit. I like to keep a simplified style for the cover style, maybe you like something much bigger and with a lot more stuff. It's fun to invent your own cover too, maybe you can also pay some editor if you see that editing is not your thing, but it will depend on yourself.
An interesting title?
This can be the first or the last thing you put in a story. As for my writing, I always like to start with the title to give you a little direction of what the writing will take. You may choose to make the title the least important thing in your work, and once you finish it all and reread it again, you will decide what would be a good title for it. You have all the decision to choose whatever you want. Can you put the ship on which the story is based together with the title? Of course you can, personally it's not to my liking, but it's your story so do what you like best. Do you want to put the title in another language or a word that means something at some point in the story? Do it, I don't limit you anything. The most advisable thing is that it always has some relation with your work and what you want to convey to the reader with this title.
Don't be afraid of falling into cliché! It happens a lot at the beginning and you may feel that your story has a very similar title, or directly the same to different writings and it is totally normal. The idea is that you decide the meaning you give to it, as I said before, reader.
Receive the opinions and comments about your work that will come back to you in a good way!
Surely there are many writers who, when they see your work, will start to give you advice about writing or spelling. Listen to them if you see that they want to help you, you will also see comments that you will probably feel as "annoying" or "heavy" but if you see that they are with a good intention and that you want to improve, they are always welcome. Self-criticism and reflection when writing is absolutely necessary. Take your time whenever necessary, re-read your own writings if you consider that they require a correction or some change that occurred to you when you finished your work. Think about your writing, reflect well after a long afternoon of writing and like anything else you do? Enjoy it. If you don't feel like it, if you don't feel like what you're writing isn't good, don't do it. It has to come from yourself, reader.

Recomendaciones y inspiración.
Bueno, mayormente a la hora de escribir me gusta empezar con una pequeña situación entre los diferentes personajes para luego ir de lleno con toda la trama. La mayoría de mis ideas al momento de narrar mis cosas provienen de mi sueños, me dijieron que llega a ser algo extraño, ya que no ando muy relacionado con la escritura; pero sí a la lectura.
Si quiero desarrollar alguna trama en concreta se me puede llegar a complicar por lo dicho antes. Mayormente escribo cosas de misterio o aventuras más o menos simples, cuentos cortos y relatos de muy corta duración, las novelas es algo que se me llega a dificultar bastante porque se necesita algo llamado...
Disciplina.
Esto es de lo más fundamental como escritor. Uno tiene que escribir y leer mucho, no importa lo que sea mientras que leeas y tengas cierta disciplina en estos ámbitos. Te ayudará muchísimo ver diferentes estilos, puede que algunos no sean de tu agradó; pero igualmente te recomiendo probarlos si jamás lo hiciste. Por ejemplo, el terror es de los géneros que menos me gustan a la hora de leer algo, pero leí algunas historias de autores de este género como...

De los mejores escritores, reconocido por sus grandes historias como "El corazón delator" y "El cuervo". (También llegó a escribir comedia y aventura)

Escritor de terror, reconocido por su gran ambientación en sus cuentos como "La casa embrujada" y "El Wendigo".

¡Recomendaciones para principiantes!
Te recomendaré unos tres autores que te ayudarían muchísimo a la hora de escribir tus cosas, tienen su estilo propio y estoy seguro que lograrás tener algún escrito suyos como tus favoritos.
«Antón Chéjov»
Tiene un estilo muy único sobre el realismo, también es muy conocido por sus relatos cortos
«Cervantes Saavedra»
De nombre quizás no lo conozcas, pero es el creador de la histórica novela "Don Quijote de la Mancha" (Te tengo que advertir que puede ser "complicado" de leer ya que el dialecto de sus obras es algo antiguo)
«Arthur Conan Doyle»
Probablemente ya leíste algo de este señor, creador de Sherlock Holmes y diferentes relatos del género policial. (Recomendación propia:"La liga de los pelirrojos")
Recuerda siempre seguir buscando que puedes leer en cuestión de tu estilo. Para cada persona hay un libro, tu deber es buscarlo y apreciarlo.
Poesía.
Lean poesía, mucha. Al comienzo no me gustaba demasiado, pero gracias a ponerme a leer sobre mis autores preferidos descubrí que es algo necesario para cada lector. Te ayuda a ver más de la vida del escritor, su pensamiento, sus ideales y sus opiniones. Busca siempre que puedas, seguramente tenga algo tú escritor favorito. ━━━━━━━━━ ● ━━━━━━━━━
Storytelling
Estás fueron algunas recomendaciones de algunos autores para comenzar a leer algo, te recomendaría también que practiques mucho el "Storytelling" que, como su nombre indica, es simplemente tu manera de escribir la historia y la narras para el lector.
Tenés que tener un objetivo en claro a la hora de hacer esto, digamos que un día te levantas y tuviste un sueño en el que soñaste con una situación muy graciosa, o sobre un mundo gigante en el cual le querés dar tus propios colores.
Por ejemplo: Quieres hacer el comienzo de tu historia, empiezas a dar vueltas de que forma podría ser mejor hacerlo y cuando te das cuenta no escribiste nada. Lo primordial es empezar con cualquier cosa, lo que usted considere interesante.

Era una fría mañana en Manhattan, el Doctor Witz se encontraba profundamente dormido; dado a su trabajo con los diferentes experimentos. Escucharía distintos golpes provenientes de la puerta de su hogar y gracias a esto se terminaría despertando por la insistencia de estos toques constantes. Para su sorpresa, al levantarse finalmente de su cama e ir hacia el ruido, ¡Resulta que era su querida amiga Linz! Dándole los buenos días e invitandolo a compartir su desayuno otro día más.
Esto es un ejemplo claro de como puede empezar una novela de forma normal, lo puedes hacer de distintas formas, pero siempre tiene que ser una que le guste a usted, buen lector. Otra forma podría ser...

Me desperté, comencé a escuchar diferentes ruidos de algún lugar y me tomó un tiempo identificar que eran provenientes de la puerta principal.
—¿Quién puede ser a esta hora? —Me pregunté levantándome de mi cama, estaba bastante cansado por el arduo trabajo en el que estuve últimamente involucrado. Me estiré un poco y antes de salir del baño me cepille los dientes, comencé a caminar lentamente donde provenían estos ruidos. El insomnio me está jugando varias malas pasadas desde ayer, pero a pesar de todo abrí la puerta y puse mi mejor cara.
Para mí suerte, ¡Era mi querida amiga Linz! Nos saludamos felizmente, realmente me alegraba mucho verla tan temprano, me invitó a desayunar algo en su hogar. Estaba por poner alguna excusa, pero me gustaba desayunar con ella; sin más decidí aceptar y nos fuimos contentos a su casa mientras platicábamos en el viaje.
Esta es otra forma de iniciar una historia. Nos enfocamos en un personaje y es como si nos estuviera contando todo desde su punto de vista, como si él mismo estuviera escribiendo la historia y narrando a todos nosotros. Elige la forma con la que te sientas cómodo, respeta esta misma y si quieres realizar algún tipo de cambio que no sea tan brusco.
"Cada palabra tiene que tener su propio tono, su propio sentimiento, vida propia, su propio sabor. Escribir no tiene que ser aburrido. No debe aburrir al lector ni al escritor ¡No debe aburrir a nadie! Debe tener una sustancia en cada línea, ¿Sabes?".

Un error común.
En vez de escribirlos los diálogos de esta manera:
—Hola —dijo Juanito.
Los pongo así:
—Hola— dijo Juanito
La segunda raya debe estar pegada al verbo con lo que venga cuando habla el narrador. Lo mismo con la tercera raya, si es que el diálogo prosigue después del "dijo" o la narración de un evento entremedio.
—No lo entiendo —Hablé directamente a su rostro—, explíqueme, se lo pido.
De esta manera estaría bien escrito. También la coma y el punto se pondrán cuando tengan que corresponder en el diálogo.

Una buena portada y sinópsis
Todo buen libro viene con una buena portada, (o quizás no) pero es necesaria una sinópsis que interese. Cuenta de lo que tratará tú escrito de una forma que llamé la atención, genera esa intriga, que den ganas de leer tu obra. Ej)
La vida del Doctor Witz se había vuelto bastante monótona con el pasar del tiempo en Ponyville, gracias a un descubrimiento reciente decidirá emprender un viaje por toda Equestria para encontrar unos libros antiguos que revelan información prohibida por la misma Celestia. ¿Lo logrará? Descúbrelo en esta historia.
También, en cuanto a la portada, podrías poner lo que se te plazca. Te recomiendo que sea algo referente a la historia, el título del escrito, algún ícono que represente bien al personaje principal o quizás algo que sea reconocible para esta misma.
Una portada bastante simple que hice hace ya un tiempo, uno puede hacerla como lo vea mejor. Me gusta mantener un estilo simplificado para el estilo de portadas, quizás a tí te guste algo mucho más grande y con muchas más cosas. Es divertido inventar tu propia portada también, quizas también puedas pagarle a algún editor si ves que la edición no es lo tuyo, pero dependerá de usted mismo.
¿Un título interesante?
Esto puede ser lo primero o lo último que le pongas a una historia. En cuanto a mis escritos, me gusta siempre comenzar con el título para darle un pequeño rumbo de lo que tomará el escrito. Quizás usted pueda elegir que el título sea lo menos primordial de su obra, una vez terminado todo y lo vuelva a releer decidirá cuál podría ser un buen titulo para esta misma. Igualmente, tiene toda la decisión para elegir lo que quiera ¿Poner el ship en el que está basada la historia en conjunto al título? Claro que puede, personalmente no es de mi agrado, pero es tú historia así que haz lo que más te guste. ¿Quieres poner el título en otro idioma o una palabra que signifique algo en algún punto de la historia? Hazlo, que no te límite nada. Lo más recomendable es que siempre tenga alguna relación con tu obra y lo que quieras hacerle llegar al lector con este título.
¡No tengas miedo de caer en el cliché! Pasá mucho al principio y puedes sentir que tú historia tiene un titulo muy parecido, o directamente el mismo a diferentes escritos y es totalmente normal. La idea es que tú decidas el significado que le das a este, como le dije anteriormente, lector.
¡Recibe las opiniones y comentarios sobre tu obra que te llegarán de buena manera!
Seguramente hay muchísimos escritores que al ver tu obra comenzarán a tirarte consejos referentes a la escritura o la ortografía. Escúchalos si ves que te quieren ayudar, también llegarás a ver comentarios que seguramente los llegues a sentir como "Molestos" o "Pesados" pero si se ve que es con una buena intención y que quieres que mejores, siempre son bienvenidos. La autocrítica y la reflexión a la hora de escribir es totalmente necesaria. Tómate tú tiempo siempre que sea necesario, vuelve a leer tus propios escritos si considerás que requieren una corrección o algún cambio que se te ocurrió al finalizar tú obra. Piensa en tus escritos, reflexiona bien después de una larga tarde de escritura y como cualquier otra cosa que hagas... Disfrútalo. Si no sientes ganas, si no sientes que lo que estés escribiendo no sea bueno, no lo hagas. Tiene que salir de usted mismo, lector.
