Hey guys! @aehiguese here with the #10 lesson of the 'learn the basics' guitar theory expounded. Inside this series, would be another short series on Jazz music and theory. I am super excited about this particular series because Jazz is my favorite genre.
Today's lesson will be somewhat of an introductory class. I did a video for you guys just so you can have a feel, just a little bit, of how the jazz music stands out from other genre. Well, the video is an example of a Jazz chord melody with a perfect bassline. Although I didn't talk in the video, it's just to give you a feel of how it sounds.
Chord Melody
A CHORD MELODY involves playing a melody in chords with the melody as the highest tone in the chord and all the other notes voiced beneath the melody note.
