My Review of The Gibson standard T Les Paul

in #guitar7 years ago

hey this looks like I caught you admiring the new battle-ax yes that is right everybody this is the new 2017

Gibson standard T Les Paul Gibson you have guy work on your naming system by the way because it's very confusing but

yeah guys this is the new Les Paul range for the 2017 model year it's a great guitar I have it for about a week now

and I'm extremely happy with it.there are a few things that could be tweaked yes maybe but for the most part it is a phenomenal guitar and this is, I'm a first time I owner and let me tell you I have zero regrets so let's get

into it guys.First off you've got a Mahogany body with ultra weight saving relief I think Gibson called it "Modern Weight Relief",basically it means they kind of remove chunks of the wood in the body so that it's still lighter than you know a traditional speck which I appreciate it and the sustain the resonance is still there no worries about that what else, you've got a slim taper neck wich is slimmer than the traditional so that was important to me sometimes I like to play fast and you know a slimmer neck is helpful with that Grover locking tuners I have read on a few sites that some of the Les Paul's had trouble staying in tune and this does a pretty good job I mean it's up to something best guitar I've ever played for staying tuned but I really can't complain about it and the

pickups are Gibson's own first  Burstbuckers  pros they sound amazing and also you've got a coil tacky capabilities on the turn knobs and the volume knobs and that's that's cool because it can get you a really nice dynamic range on the tonal spectrum so basically the reasons like why I got this just the sustain goes on and on guys it really is I mean you could play a note and it just goes I know it's all the time and I don't know how gifts them did but I don't know if it's in the bridge setup of what but it's fantastic and also for playing E string I can feel it resonating in the body and most of my guitars really Buckley guitars that I can feel that I noticed that right away last thing I'll tell you about this the main reason I got is the store I was playing it at I was playing it for a real tiny shitty amps and I'm playing and I thought man this saw him comes really good and I ended up switching this guitar up for it for a different

brand and played it through the same and I said wait no this it's a guitar amp this is terrible and so I played it for

multiple Hampton it really is the guitar has a lot to do with it obviously there's a balance you know you're you're

a skier will have something to do with it but the guitar just sounds phenomenal so today we're running through my crate

amp the only foot pedals that I've got going on is a wah pedal I thought it'd be fun because you know laws like all 10

together but that will start on the clean sound first and I'll let you hear sometimes so here's the bridge pickup

that's kind of a range initial range let's play with some of the coral tats now so here's just regular braid again

so hopefully that gives you a good example now with the store Sheng get free you now play around with the waffle day

and I won't drop you just because one of one of my concerns is how heavy could the Les Paul get with the stocks pickup them down I don't know I don't know they I gotta find a place I could repeat the slash in each site so anyways guys it's a great guitar I definitely ready to go out which try one I wish I had gotten one sooner and before I go I will show you something I didn't know when you buy a Gibson they actually include a picture of the guitar right before it leaves the factory so there's my baby full-grown right out in the factory and I just thought that was a cool little

touch that they do so that's it guys check it out Gibson Les Paul Standard G 2017 catch you on the next post.
