Eye on Artists: Muddy Waters

in #guitar7 years ago

Figured today, I'd talk about one of the artists I was big into when learning guitar. I am a big fan of Muddy Waters--would have been dope to catch one of his shows. Fortunately I got to see some BB King at Bonnaroo a few years ago when he was still with us. BB King was still very old when I saw him but expressed how happy he was so many people came out to see him.

Muddy Waters has some good blues music. The song above is one of his most well known.

The Rolling Stones jammed with Muddy Waters at least once. I also really enjoy "Got My Mojo Working."

My favorite Muddy Waters song is "Can't Get No Griding." But I always enjoy "Champagne and Reefer." If you got some time and want to listen to some good tunes, you can't go wrong with some Muddy Waters or other electric blues.
