I must say, this guitar looks amazing. What's not so amazing, is the price tag. $7999 USD is just way too much money in my opinion. The inlays aren't even real mother of pearl like you would normally get with a custom Jackson or ESP At that price, I'd be afraid to even play it! It's an absolutely gorgeous guitar (especially the flame top) but it doesn't justify the insane price tag. You can view all the specs on Gibsons website here:

Do you remember the old "Slash's Snakepit" Gibson signature model? It had the snake with the top hat? I loved that guitar. Gibson I think is having trouble remembering what their identity is. They make great guitars, but if nobody can afford them, what's the point?!
Exactly! A lot of people are also complaining about the quality of the workmanship on their expensive guitars too, so I don't know what's going on in their quality control department. No, I don't remember that one..I will have to check that one out.
Holly shit!!! That is an awesome looking guitar. But I agree with you the price is too steep even if it is a gibson. You can get really nice slightly used guitars in a lot less than what you will pay for this. I would not even take it out of the case because i'll be afraid that I might break it.
I know right! They do make a classic t model with that ocean green finish for around $1700 new...I would take that over this model.
Absolutely you can get many awesome guitars under $2000 which are worth it.
