The other day I visited a park not too far from where I lived.
As I sat under a gumtree I was struck by how similar the scenery was to my former homeland of Oz.
Although there were no galahs in said gumtree, no golden gaytime ice cream to cool down with, nor a Woodroffe's lemonade to guzzle in the shade, I was nonetheless struck by the similarities.
Exhibit A: the gumtree with no grass growing under it.
Exhibit B: The scorched playing pitch below.
Conclusion: Maybe I am in a dream? Or maybe just maybe it's just good old global warming !
