My Latest Acquisition

in #guns7 years ago

My latest acquisition is the Glock 26 Gen 4 which I have made provisions and applied for self-defence. I purchased this gun in March and applied for the permit on the 4th of April however this could take up to 90 days to be approved (South African gun laws) so that I can take possession of this gun.

The reason that this gun was part of my selection was due to the fact that it was compact, easy to conceal and relatively easier to shoot vs other calibres that I have tested along side it. I would have preferred to go a bigger calibre route however when researching the different calibres, I found that the 9mm does have a lot of pros and marginal differences between the bigger calibres therefore I chose this.

I am hoping that the gun is approved soon so I can make a video on it at the range.

Hope that you guys share your thoughts around this little guy.

nice to see you on the 9mm train for CCW. Really the only downside to 9 is that it doesn't suppress well, but that doesn't matter for CCW, so it is basically ideal.

Will be my first 9mm Carry.

I hope you like it!

Want a boost? Minnowbooster's got your back!

Not a fan, personally, of sub compacts. But I'm glad you were able to get one in SA. Are the gun laws there as stringent as I read about?

The laws in South Afrifca are very strict to legally acquire a firearm which makes no sense as the crime rate is so high!!!!

Hope this has been serving you well :)! Some of my favorite SC 9mm

  1. Sig P320 SC
  2. Smith and Wesson MP 9C
  3. CZ Rami BD

Shot my first glock last week (Glock 19 G5)
Surprised at how much I enjoyed the glock :)!
