Having a morning routine is such a small, but powerful way to stay on top of our limits and set myself up for a productive day each day.
My favourite way to set this sistems up is my dividing them in 15 to 18 minute slots each slot having a different theme.
- First 15 minutes: Cleanup and fuel.
- Read a classic book for 15 minutes until I get at least 1 golden nugget out of it. Today's book convinced me I should include something productive as writing this article in my routine.
Just read a few words from The One Thing , my golden nuggets from today were:- "what you build today will either empower or restrict you tomorrow"
- "transferring the wealth of one of the greatest companies ever built as tax-free as possible requires thinking big from the beginning"
- "Don't order from the menu."
- Have a spiritual habit. For me I like to setup my day by going through my goals and writing them up again, while towards the end of the 15 minutes I like to exercise gratitude as talked about by in The Gratitude Journal
- I used to go to crossfit in the morning, now I switched for a lighter training of 15 minutes at home. Madbarz is one of my favourite mobile apps for simple effective exercises, usually I design my own, but the app has an excellent community that drives the exercise design towards being simple and effective, also it has a role in coaching me as well, by having all the tools necessary.
That's it. As a bonus sometimes I have music turned on while doing some of the routines or something from my "watch later" playlist on youtube, but that's never news. For me general news are something to either be ignored or listen to while my brain is at rest and needs diversity.
Here is a nice listen from my history:

Please let me know in the comments section if anything from this resonates with you or you think of it as a complete lunacy. What would you do different or what would you keep ?
