There is no media spotlight for one of the world's best hackers

Talented individuals have done enough to get the spotlight but unfortunately the brilliant side of Pakistan is rarely projected. However, ProPakistani.pk recently caught him where they were talking to a brilliant Shahmeer.

Education and Hacking

Shahmeer Amir moved to Karachi with his family at the age of 13. He completed basic education from Rangers High School, and conducted Intermediate in Engineering from Government Degree College. Later, he earned a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering from the Usman Institute of Technology under the accreditation of Hamdard University. He is also a scholarship holder.

Shahmeer Amir always likes to use computer. He often finds many bugs in his early days when he has access to the Pentium 3. The problem is related to software, hardware and registry and he usually fixes everything himself and also with the help of Google.

Nothing stopped the Shahmeer who never looked back and continued to excel in the field of white hat hacking. Initially, he attended a seminar on cybersecurity at his university which he thought was a turning point in his life. He calls hacking a white hat as ethical hacking while stating:

"My main role is finding exploitation in the products and services we use in everyday life. After I identified the security risks, I contacted the people behind the product and they resolved their complaints. As the information vulnerability researcher, they acknowledged my efforts and even pay a reward upon successful completion of exploitation "

When he was asked to comment on cyber security education in Pakistan, Shahmeer Amir replied that there should be more centers in the country. He stated that:

"I think there should be more legitimate Cyber Security training centers in Pakistan and really help young people develop skills rather than fool students.I myself have been the victim of fake education and self-study is my only chance"

The current Shahmeer plan and tip for all ethical hackers 'future'

In addition to being an ethical hacker, Shahmeer Amir is also a philanthropist who has donated nearly half of his amount to a variety of causes and individuals in dire need of help. He was inspired by the martial arts of the recently deceased Muhammed Ali boxer.

The twenty-one-year-old Shahmeer is currently in Lahore where he manages his own cyber security startup, Cyphlon, with a team of 6 people under Plan9, the PITB IT Board (PITB). Shahmeer and his team regularly discussed the idea of how to strengthen the cyber defense and Pakistani IT companies.

Shahmeer has tipped all potential hackers in Pakistan to focus on learning sooner rather than earn money. The idea was very helpful. He stated that:

"I've seen a lot of researchers go to get $$$ before they know the basic architecture of a web app Do not make that mistake I did in the past and I have to get my respect back by working twice harder.Learn before getting and donating generously, this will help you achieve countless blessings "

Shahmeer's work can be seen here. Moreover, he can get here. Hopefully this success story will inspire the current generation of Pakistan to conduct ethical hacking as a profession.
