I guess you missed the last month of use case examples on how the amount of Steem power you have drastically effects your voting weight on the network.
The Steem Power system is litterally a system that rewards you based on vested shares you give to authors, litterally applying the logic that the more Sterm you have Powered up, will give you more leverage, or as you have put it rights.
Just for a case study, most people who know what steem is, have accepted it for payment as a service or have managed an escrow system that would produce more than the $3 you have accumulated.
I joined in 2016, when I started to use the front end to blog in 2018 I managed to accumulate over 4500 by blogging and trading the Steem with Steem Dollars.
If you just want to use steem as a blog that's fine, but dont come around pretending you know what DPOS is when you clearly dont. Steem is revolutionary and deserves more intellectual capacity than you have demonstrated, there is so much to learn here.
