Really?! You have nutria? I'm aware that some cultures hunt them for food. And some places simply call them rats.
In the picture, they actually look cute. I thought they were beavers :))

They are of the same size and shape of a beaver, unless for the tail that's rat-like. They're herbivores and dig tunnels, disrupting embankments and crops. They don't belong to our habitat, they were bred for furs, but now this business is collapsed and some failed farm released them in the environment, or they escaped.
