I wanted to put them together for my memory: Sentinels on the coast.
The soul of the inert.
Sing the sea.The stones are with us from the beginning, they are witnesses of the time, as well as the waters of the sea. His vision, in the photograph of @marcoricardi, has produced a chain reaction. The image has become an oracle and the verses in predictions, in omens, which could describe the last image of a great movie about life.
The poems of this edition are magnificent, this time I especially enjoyed three verses of different proposals, those of @agmoore2, that of @salvao and that of @oacevedo.
I believe that there is still more participation, however, I believe that I will not change my mind regarding Haiku's beauty of @agmoore2 because he humanized the rocks and at the same time made them sand. He had a wonderful vision of Sabi in the wear and tear of time.
My winning Haiku is for @felixgarciap for the elegance, simplicity and Karumi of his verses, but especially for his brilliant third verse that completely breaks with the initial verses. For me Felix your poem is very very beautiful.
The haikus are great, to give feeling to the inert rocks that wait, that observe, that leave the water and almost touch, in the beauty of the sea. We must see how they looked beyond the single rocks gave life and almost movement. The feelings that move photography were unique and special, almost all detailed the two rocks present there and made them almost human by giving them feelings, hopes. Very nice works supporting two haikus @salvao@felixgarciap
I'm going with @agmoore2, a very rich poem. In it there is a threat, a threat of more erosion, shibui. The boulders will be the next to go, but they placidly await their fate while doing their duty, karumi. I get a feel of destiny in this haiku, inevitability, the present moment fixed in eternal time, sabi and mono no aware. The boulders stand together though, they are not alone, giving the whole work a feel of shiori. Although it was not hard for me to know which is my favorite this time, I have to say that the works submitted this time are excellent!
I vote for @owasco. To capture tension of the moment--tides turning, dynamic change--and to infuse that with harmony. All in 11 syllables. Ah, yes, poetry

This is the most singular vote ever...a haiku-patchwork!
hehehe, I couldn't stand the temptation to mix with the verses.

Thank you very much for your detailed report @marcybetancourt, I certainly feel flattered.

Thank you! It's mutual!
