3 Foods That Could Help Speed Up Natural Hair Regrowth By David McKenna
This topic is about hair loss. For any man in the midst of hair loss, there are few things as frustrating as noticing your hair shedding every day. Whether you see strands of hair in the shower after you get ready in the morning or you are simply noticing that thinning patch on the sides and back of your head is getting larger and larger, you are frustrated and not sure what to do.
Did you know that your diet may in fact help you? That’s right. The foods that you eat on a daily basis can have a key role in the hair growth you experience (or don’t experience!) so it pays to monitor your diet.
Too many people overlook this fact and go on to experience hair loss for years that could have been prevented.
So which foods should you be turning to? Which foods are going to give you the best results for keeping your hair strong and healthy?
Let’s look at your list.
1.Spinach
Not only is spinach a perfect food for keeping your weight under control thanks to the fact it’s so low in calories and great for keeping your gym performance up since it contains a solid dose of iron, it turns out, it may just help keep your hair strong as well.
Spinach is an excellent source of omega-3 acids, magnesium, potassium, as well as calcium, all which help play a role in keeping your hair shiny and strong. Often those who are lacking in iron tend to notice greater hair loss issues as well, so spinach can help you make up for any deficiency you may be experiencing.
Go in for that spinach salad at lunch and you’ll be all set.
2.Greek Yogurt
Greek yogurt has three key things going for it:
- It’s lower in sugar than other yogurt varieties. If you want to optimize your protein intake without a lot of extra carbs, this yogurt is for you.
- It contains probiotics, which can keep your immune system strong and may even help you maintain healthier hair, skin, and nails as well. The stronger your immune system is, the better every part in your body will run.
- It is a rich source of vitamin B5, which is important for maintaining a good degree of blood flow to the scalp and hair. Without good blood flow, you’ll experience a decrease in natural hair growth, so this could lead to the accelerated thinning process.
Try some Greek yogurt topped with some berries next time you need a quick snack.
3.Salmon
We already noted above that omega-3’s can help you avoid unwanted hair loss and there is no food as rich in omega-3’s as salmon. This protein source is not only terrific for bringing up your intake of amino acids, but these omega-3 fatty acids can help to minimize the inflammation taking place in the body, ensuring that all areas of your body function optimally. This includes keeping your skin, hair, and nails healthy.
Often those who are short in this essential fatty acid have hair that is lackluster and dull, so filling up on salmon can be a great way to prevent this.
So there you have three great foods to consider adding to your diet if you want to improve your hair appearance and kick-start your health.
