The Four Herbs That Might Help You Minimize Bald Spots By David McKenna

So we are back with more tips for combating hair loss. If you are faced with this problem, you want help stat and the following might just provide some of the relief you are looking for.

When it comes to minimizing hair loss, herbal remedies do hold some weight. While not all herbs will work as they say they will, there are a few that do appear to be beneficial.

Before going any further though, we do want to note that you should always speak to your doctor about using any of these herbs prior to doing so. Remember that herbs can interact with any medications you are taking just like other prescription drugs can, so you want to be safe before starting.

Moving forward, let’s go over a few of the key herbs that you may wish to consider.

1.Rosemary

Rosemary is a delicious herb that you may have even used on chicken or sweet potatoes before. It’s one you definitely can’t go wrong with in the kitchen and it turns out, can also help you optimize your health and hair as well.

To use this treatment, you’ll simply want to combine some rosemary oil mixed with a bit of olive oil as well and then apply this directly to the scalp. This mixture should help to promote overall hair growth and may even help to combat grey hair as well.

If you are at that age where your hair is starting to turn grey, this could be a very important solution to consider.

2.Peppermint

Another good herb that you might consider using that is also applied topically just like rosemary is peppermint. While the rosemary and olive oil mixture is going to be good for helping to nourish your hair, the peppermint oil is going to help to increase blood circulation to the scalp, which can then help to stimulate added hair growth.

The end result is stronger, healthier looking hair. You’ll apply this just like you would the other oil, massaging it directly into the scalp and leaving it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it out.

You might even notice that some of the over the counter hair treatment shampoos and conditioners contain peppermint oil for this reason.

3.Aloe

Think aloe vera is only for using after you’ve burned your skin on a long hot summer’s day? It’s time to think again. Aloe is also great for improving hair growth and can be used topically as well to help stimulate greater blood flow to the scalp region.

This herb tends to be more effective for promoting new hair growth than it does for stopping hair loss, so if you are already thinning, this is a good herb to try.

For optimal results, consider mixing the aloe with a little coconut milk and using it as a hair mask/rinse after your normal shampoo and conditioner.

4.Saw Palmetto

Saw palmetto is one herb that you may have heard of before, especially if you are someone who may be experiencing some troubles in the bedroom. It’s often utilized to help men who are experiencing infertility or impotence, but it turns out, it may help combat more than that.

Saw palmetto helps to improve a man’s overall body chemistry and can help to promote the growth of new hair while keeping the hair you have stronger and healthier.

It’s often best used in combination with another herb – stinging nettle, which may also help to maximize natural testosterone levels in the body and promote healthier looking hair.

So as you can see, there is no shortage of herbal options to consider here. Choose one or two and give them a try.

You might just find that they really help you get past your current hair loss situation.
