Halloween is the epitome of the meritocratic competitive Free Market. The person who displays the most creative and intricate costume is rewarded with praise and good graces. It encourages innovation and hard work. Healthy competition always produces top quality products. A respect for the unwritten rules of the market is universal. Violence or threats of violence are shunned and spurned. Candy is the currency paid for productive work that others value.
Good ideas do not require force. If your ideas require force than your ideas are worthless. The violence of the State is sought after by those who are inadequate or incapable to legitimately compete in the Free Market of ideas. The power of their words cannot survive based on intrinsic value and voluntary interaction alone. These are the ideas that must be vigorously resisted and demonstrated to be false. Let them loose in the arena of conversation and we will see how they fare. The truth need not be protected. Let it free and it will take care of itself.

I’m a practitioner of Eastern Healing arts with degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese medicinal herbs, I have always questioned the status quo, a path which led me to peaceful anarchism. Through my journey, I have worn many hats, that of a classical pianist, avid chess player, philosopher, comedian, and now father of two little anarchists. My wife brands me as a Cultural Critic, but I am simply following my thirst for knowledge and passion for writing.
