One thing I was hoping you'd bring up, is how to teach your puppy to not bark whenever it wants.
So many new dog owners things its cute when the dog barks, they encourage it and giggle and laugh.
When your dog becomes 3 years old, and has been doing that all its life, it can become a real problem later. I just saw an 8th month old chocolate lab today, and it kept barking and wagging its tail non stop, and the owner just blushed and said "yeah, my dog likes to bark".
Yes it can become a problem , and I would train them the same by telling them no in a firm voice and spanking with an envolope, it's all easier if you start when they are a puppy.
