Hello. Starting today, I begin a small experiment. I never created figures from polymer clay... but I always wanted. So today, I bought such a thing (on photo below). This clay for modeling, based on natural clay. I will try to create the figure. I'll share my results. And we will see together what I finally get :) This clay requires a certain time to solidification, so the process will not be quick. After working with baking polymer clay, work with this is very strange for me... it's different.
First, I made a wire frame.
Then, "sketched" this clay.
Here I slowly began "acquaintance" with this clay. It was necessary to relearn... Work with it heavier than with polymer clay. It dries up and cracking like a natural clay. Have to wet it a little from time to time.
The figure gain initial shape, simple detailing. Unfortunately, now it should drying for 3-4 days. Then it will be possible to grind off the excess, or add new details. To be continued...
Sincerely, TerryCraft.
