That's so wonderful! You've got a good friend. I started so many businesses with no support in my early years. It makes a huge difference when you don't feel like you're doing it all alone.
Best of luck to you in your new business venture. Remember that the point of it is to enjoy the work you do and have it enrich you, so don't ever lose sight of the joy and get lost in the grind. It can seem like there is always work that can be productively done. So you have to schedule in time to just stare at the sky and savor the simple sweetness of life.
Thank you, also for that reminder! It's very different in terms of energy than when you work for a company, I already feel the difference, although that might also just be the initial excitement!
Well setting yourself up with good habits now while you've got so much energy coming from the initial excitement of it all is very good for your future success. If you work in a pacing and flow to each day that mixes intense productive activity with periods of just sitting back and enjoying life in some way, then when you get really busy with more things that are necessary (but maybe not inspired) you'll still have good habits to sustain the joy in your work. This trips a lot of people up. They get to a place where their new business becomes a grind, and they're just the demanding boss.
