How much joy can your body contain?
I'd like you to close your eyes, ask yourself that question, and explore that.
You were probably shocked to discover resistance to a vast amount of joy. Where is the cap to the joy you feel comfortable with? Can you see and feel where it is?
Ok. Now, I have a fun experiment for you for the rest of today: try to go just beyond that cap that you imagined. Just beyond it. And just beyond it again.
I know you think it's your responsibility to match your mood to your life experience, but if you're not dying this moment, if your boyfriend isn't leaving you this moment, if your electricity isn't being shut off this moment, then I want you to be trying this. I want you to do this regardless of your life situation.
Just do it for the hell of it because it's your life and you can.
There's no ceiling to joy.
Post in the comments about how this goes for you.

Challenge accepted! Will report back.
Okay Im reporting back. In response to the question, "How much joy can my body contain?" This was more difficult than I initially thought it would be :)
Of course when contemplating these questions, the ideas of different types of joys flow through one's consciousness, including physical pleasure type of joy. I was reading an article the other day by a tantric therapist about the "art of receiving" and my mind keeps pondering this in relation to the question you pose here. Humans working on their ability to receive joy from life. Because it's probably all around us!
As humans living in the collective dream currently, most of us are conditioned to to believe certain things about how life is or should be. Like it has to be hard to live comfortably, a beautiful relationship must take endless amounts of hard work. Things are hard, blah blah blah. And by no means am I sitting here thinking it's a walk in the park. But like in any lucid dream, when you become aware that you are dreaming and you have worked to remove negative conditioning and programs from society and even your parents, about how you are or who you should be or act; and there's a clear channel for authenticity to come to the surface, I suspect that's where the large amounts of joy come in.
Now...I guess I have not technically answered your question, "how much joy can my body contain?" Im still working on the theory I typed out above :)
So right now, my solid reply would be, a medium-ish amount. But I sense vaults on the other side of my self imposed walls, that one day, and hopefully soon, will be great vessels for joy.
YES! Glad you're doing it! And how about when you have it better formulated, you make it your first post here on Steemit. :)
