I guess technically the Hardfork was a success. The blockchain seemed to be down a little while but not that long so I guess they didn't have to rerun the whole chain.
There is a new 5 minute rule instead of 15 minutes I guess.
I assume the bots will survive and I think now Steemit will move more towards a curation game where people basically just front run the bots or other voters.
I'll probably be making less comments and I am not thrilled with the new curation game Steem blockchain.

You lost a lot of voting worth I take it. Seems you are not along. The only ones it appears are singing praise and joy are the accounts who were making five, six, seven bucks a post and now appear to have jumped to double that. I didn't have anything to lose because I wasn't worth anything anyway, with Kawaii running around flagging me no sense in you upvoting me so you are safe in that regard saving your pennies...but it's a harsh reality for some who worked so hard and were half way to dolphin to find themselves worthless today...so how can you trust a blockchain that would do that to people. I don't see where something of that nature would attract anyone to come here, work hard so we can take it from you...doesn't sound like a good motto. Crazy, just crazy.
I was looking at my wallet tonight and I happen to notice someone gave me twenty steem but it doesn't say who...was that you?

Weird, went back and looked and now it says 26 which is what I did power up but it didn't say that when I looked at it last night, it said 20 which is why I was confused.
They reduced people's vote power. I guess you'd call it that. Lots of people woke up being worth a whole lot less in voting power....I know they said they wanted to discourage people from self upvoting but making them worth less would seem to instill trust for new users to come aboard. If they can just erase what people earned or diminished their worth that doesn't appear to be trust worthy. I wonder how this is going to reflect with dustsweepers...seems like a lot more for them to keep from going to dust.
I think I might use bots on my comments. Crazy that I lost more than 50% of my vote though. :(
You were on the trending page the other day...four dollars something got you there...lol, probably cause everyone else headed for the hills during the hardfolk...they all seems healthy and getting wealthier by the minute over there again. I'd start out on the low end if I was you....everyone is all happy with their new downvotes.
Really? You should have taken a picture. lol I'm worried I might hit it again which is bad. Have you seen the attacks the people on the trending page receive. I'm lucky I didn't get attacked. I hate this hardfork.
I'm pretty much screwed either way. With the new scheme all the small bots and low bids make you lose money now. :(

I was going to but I had to go someplace at the time, I thought for sure you were aware of it. I was getting no where fast (lol) anyway so I can't say I hate it but I sure feel sorry for a lot of people, not everyone was abusing the rewards. Sure not everyone was putting out top quality content but they weren't grabbing up five, ten bucks let alone hundreds for what they were doing. I think there is a delicate balance in there somewhere that needs to be met to make the platform a success. I think they need to find a way to be inclusive of people who are trying their best or putting their best foot forward without asking a whole lot in return. Like you, your post were pretty simple but they rarely went over a buck, in return for that less than a buck you engaged, you went out and engaged with others and that's a pretty good return for less than a buck. Oh, and you usually only did it once a day...whereas in comparison the cat lady I was talking about walked about her day doing looking for stuff just to post on her uvlog then upvote herself eight bucks for a four minute video on a stray cat she comes upon while rambling on repeating herself, then she'd go find something else to post the same day repeating the process two, three times a day. If by chance she has half a dozen sock accounts doing the same thing basically she wouldn't even need to work for a living....lol...figure it out, four minute videos or four minutes of posting three, four lines times three times is twelve minutes, give her fifteen minutes to post it all and she's making twenty four dollars a half hour, that's forty eight dollars an hour. If she has five more alt accounts that's another hundred twenty dollars for an additional two and a half hours work.
I had a blog post a few days ago, when I was on holiday. It showed a 0.25 USD upvote total. When I gave myself an upvote a few days later, it dropped from 0.25 USD to 0.16 USD on the spot!
We should have been into cats. I just seen a post by someone who was posting several ublogs a day and raking in over a hundred bucks on seven day pay outs, she was complaining she was down to like thirty something in her seven day payouts. I went to look at what she was posting and I was like wow all this time I've been on here and all it would have took for a eight dollar pay out post was making a bunch of
short post or making a video of my cat while repeating the same thing over and over again....I could have been rich since I have two cats!!!!!, a dog!!!!, a frog...just think where I could have gone with that!!!!! Eight bucks!!!! OMG...we've been onto the wrong things!!!! Might have to make a post about that later.
