Today's exercise:

Parts to swap:

  • Processor - Intel i7 6700 4ghz >>> AMD Ryzen 1700
  • Mainboard - MSI Z170A >>> MSI B350 Tomahawk AM4
  • Cooler - Shadow Rock 2 SR1 >>> AMD Wraithspire

Parts to keep:

  • PSU - Corsair 750 Watt
  • GPU - EVGA 980ti 6gb
  • RAM - Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2400mhz

Work Complete!

Man I love building computers. This is a gaming/streaming station that can handle 4k and Ultrawide applications. Hope you enjoyed my first "visual build diary". I've got a couple of different models coming up that I'll get to work on so you can look forward to more tinkering :)

The "zero APM" series of articles shall be exploring the more technical side of things. From hardware, to streaming tips over game optimisations I'll be going through some topics that I am somewhat knowledgeable about! Hope to see you there!

I know this ship like the back of my hand..BONK,

You have very nice working space. I have GEORCE GTX card in my computer too, it looks good when it lighted up in dark room + it is fast. When my husband build my computer and only one think was left - to close the box- we got distracted and my one year old climed right inside of it. That was very stressful :) I never played games on my computer yet.

Ah perhaps I should have made it more clear that this isn't mine! Built this for a friend of mine :)

There are many models of GeForce, do you know which one you have?

That's crazy that your kid climbed inside, perhaps one day he (or she?) will build their own :)

Jeez mind your head that's the second doorway you've walked into this week XD

Ahh I remember when I used to enjoy building PCs, now I just want the damn things to work. You have a very pretty little hellbeast there :)

I'm planning on getting the Fractal Define R5 and this one is pretty similar.

This is quite clearly quality porn.
You should be ashamed of yourself!
