As a wizard or witch, players need to work together to protect the Harry Potter imagery's magical world and defeat the legendary creatures already seen in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Animals series films. The game is based on the same processes of Augmented Reality that defined Pokemon Go's success: created by Niantic himself, thus bringing players out of the house and moving physically into the true globe to discover the creatures to defeat and difficulties with the greatest benefits.
The player produces an avatar after establishing a game account, positioned in a situation in the game universe that depends on his situation in the actual globe. Then the player goes around the true globe to discover and catch magic creatures by stopping in inns to replenish magic power, in greenhouses to get potion ingredients and fortresses to battle against animals. As the player passes within their true setting, their avatar passes within the game's virtual map.
Lost and Found The player's objective is to retrieve the "Lost," that is, artifacts, animals, individuals and memories that roam the world of Muggles owing to a disaster that upsets the Wizarding World. The "Lost" put the global statute at danger for confidentiality, the set of regulations that allow the magic community to conceal its presence.
Soqquadri To defeat a "Lost" the related "Soqquadro" will first have to be defeated. These are spells or creatures that challenge the skills of players. All of which have a sequence of magic at their disposal, attempting to be quick and accurate by drawing the forms that represent them on the screen. If you try to attack a "Soqquadro" but don't succeed, you'll lose a Magic Energy unit, but you can always redo the fight until the "Soqquadro" is visible on the map.
Players must explore real places and reach points of interest, such as monuments, historic buildings and churches, similar to what happened with Pokémon Go's Pokétop, to guarantee the resources required to face the fighting and survive. You will thus find inns and greenhouses where magical foods and ingredients can be used to make potions.
Strongholds If in Pokemon Go it was not feasible to join forces to face the greatest creatures, unless they belonged to the same house, in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite all players, regardless of their race, can team up to face the Fortresses, the huge buildings on the map populated with enemy sets.
Once level 6 has been reached, the player can create his Avatar career among the three available: Aurors, Professors and Magizoologists. Each is defined by various spells that offer a distinct position to the characters.
