I've been told, more than once may I add, that I'm wrong, ill, misguided just because I don't like hash browns. I'll enjoy a potato pretty much any other way, but will not eat hash browns. Would you like to know why?
They are greasy. The texture is all wrong, at least the way I've had them. They are crispy on the outside, but then they are full of a lying squishy oily center. If you're going to have something crisp on the outside, please try not to fill it with grease and death. I don't mind others enjoying this "breakfast potato", but please don't slam me for finding this slick and oddly textured spud disgusting.
I love fries, and I'm sure anyone who enjoys a hash brown would love fries too. If we could just do away with the finely shredded mess and go with the thick cut and delicious french fry, we'd have a better world.
