I’ve tried the Forge for the first time. If you’re a veteran HashKing farmer, I bet you’re not impressed. But if you’re a beginner like me, you might be intrigued.
So what is the Forge? The Forge is a magical place where you can merge you’re Avatars from two half decent Avatars into one mighty Avatar stronger that it’s components.
As I’ve decided to get into Raids at full force, I need stronger Raiders to be able to earn those beautiful BUDS.
So I had two Colonel White Widow with some random little bits of XP from a random blazed blunt or two. As White Widow is an Epic First Generation Zombie Avatar I’d say she’s a good candidate for leveling up.
How does the Forge work?
You select two Avatars to work with. The left one will be merged into the right one.
The forging formula is the following:
statsAvatar3 = (statsAvatar1 + statsAvatar2) * Bonus
This means that all your XP and POWER will be added up, along with an additional bonus to both stats.
There are three scenarios which will decided how much bonus your forged Avatar will receive.
1) Two Identical Avatars
You will get an increase of at least 7.5% up to 12.5% in both XP and POWER.
2) Not Identical, But Same Rarity
You will get an increase of at least 5% up to 10% in both XP and POWER.
3) Not Identical, Not Same Rarity
You will get an increase of at least 1% up to 5% in both XP and POWER.
You can merge your Avatars as many times as you’d like, there’s no limit. Though, your Avatars must be within 5 levels of each other, so no forging a level 1 avatar with a level 100.
There’s also an increasing fee that needs to be paid during the forging of Avatars. For me forging these low level Avatars the fee was $2.
I started out with these two Colonel White Widow:
After forging them, my new Avatar emerged with the following stats:
Just because I like math. The XP when added adds up to 135 XP and the POWER adds up to 126 POWER without bonus. So that’s a bonus to each stat of 7.5%!
Now my new and improved Raid Leader White Widow is almost ready. She’ll just need a big box of joints to get her in the mood!
