FUNTASTIC DAY TO YOU GUYS!
We went to Anjo World to celebrate the third anniversary of Therachieve Pediatric and Adult Clinic. It is a therapy center offering Speech therapy, Occupational therapy, Physical therapy and Tutorials for children and adults. The clinic owner treated us to the carnival which I've never been, so I was so excited since I love theme parks! Anjo World opened last December of 2018 but closed for 6 months during pandemic and reopened last September 2020. The theme of the carnival is Continents of the World. Other than the kiddie-friendly rides, it also has the first ever ice theme park in Cebu which is called Snow World. It is located in Minglanilla, Cebu [//]:# (!pinmapple 10.250985 lat 123.799780 long d3scr). In my opinion, it's the most decent carnival here in my hometown. hahaha
This is what you see in the entrance. They have a wide parking space. And outside the carnival it's already like a mini shopping mall. There's a food court, a supermarket, cafes and other shops. It was kind of gloomy and when I checked the weather forecast, we were expecting a rainy day. Luckily, it didn't rain until the late afternoon which gave us just enough time to enjoy the rides.
There are around 12 rides, souvenir shops, food kiosks and arena games.
FUNTASTIC ARENA
They had games where you toss rings into beer bottles, shoot balls inside glasses, shoot balls in hoops and knock down cans.
IMO: Some of my colleagues tried it but it was difficult to win their games and it has a separate fee where you need to buy tokens to use for playing and it was kind of pricey.
ANJO EYE
As seen on the picture, it is 200ft in height with 128 passenger capacity which is one of the tallest Ferris wheels in the Philippines. It was built for sight seeing purposes and not one of those I used to ride in other carnivals which would move fast. This one was quite slow, which would be nice for romantic dates? hmmm...
It was pretty awesome. The ride would take around 9 minutes. When we rode it, it was drizzling and already night time, so we weren't able to really see the far places and islands that they mentioned we would see. But still we enjoyed it!
VIKING
I guess this is one of the Filipinos' favorite ride. Since people always line up in this ride.
It was non-stop screaming from my group when we rode the viking. I really like to sit at the farthest side of the boat and enjoy the swing from the highest it can go.
BUMPER BOATS
The bumper boats had 2 controllers, one is for moving the boat and the other one is for spraying water to attack your opponents.

SPACE SHUTTLE
Sad we weren't able to try this one. We were in a hurry to get to Snow World since they had scheduled time. Maybe on my next visit. But it's really a kiddie ride so no big deal. hahhaha
TOWER DROP
It is a 25-meter free fall ride that lasted not more than 5 minutes which could fit 16 passengers. But since it's pandemic, they limited and ensured one to two empty seats in between passengers.
I was so excited to try this ride. It looked so fun watching people scream everytime the ring drops. So when I went for my turn, I thought it would be a fast drop like the one I tried in Taiwan. But yeah it wasn't the speed I expected, but I still liked the view from when we were at the top. It's amazing!!
SNOW WORLD
Inside the Snow world, they had an pretty huge ice slide which was so fun! There were ice sculptures, I also tried making a snow angel which I always wanted to do since I was young. Their snow looks like real natural snow. There was also a cafe inside! We ordered their hot chocolate, and they also had coffee.
Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to take videos or photos inside since they have in-house photographers. This is the only picture we had and we paid around 200php for a hardcopy and softcopy of the same picture.
Here are some panoramas I took of the place. The whole carnival is around 1.5 hectares while Snow world on its own is 2,000 square meters.
We all met up at around 1pm and ended at 6pm. It was just enough time for us to explore the theme park and enjoy the rides. I hope they add more heart-racing rides. Til next time!
