Normally, the Tet atmosphere of Da Nang city will be 15 days before the Lunar New Year, with crowds of people on the streets. The exciting place in the days before Tet is the flower market on March 29. On the days before the Lunar New Year, the people buying and selling flowers at Tet flower markets will be very busy. It can be said that Da Nang Tet Flower Market at March 29 Square, located on September 2nd Street, has become a familiar place for all Da Nang people, at the end of the year. Going to the flower market, we will encounter flowers from all over the country. Like the branches of peach trees in the North, yellow apricots in the South, tulips in Da Lat, and the lush pots of Hoi An kumquats bring auspicious meanings for the first days of the year. The flower market seems to have become a tradition of the people in the central region and is also an essential cultural element of the national traditional Tet. Tet flower market is a place where people can travel to spring and feel the atmosphere of Tet closest. This is the place where the farmer aunts and uncles spent time taking care of ornamental plants and flowers to help earn extra income, to celebrate Tet with their families. More precisely, this is also a place where young people can take photos and show their beautiful moments with friends. It can be said that the cultural beauty of Vietnamese people has existed since the time of our forefathers, to this day, although it has only changed slightly, it still retains the traditional customs of the traditional Tet. The custom of cooking Chung cake, bringing Mr. Apple to heaven, the custom of presenting the five-fruit tray, the custom of wishing New Year. These are the indispensable things on the first day of the lunar year... Let's hope that the good deeds at the beginning of this year will help to have a peaceful, confident, and happy year.

Flowers are the soul of spring, flowers are the beauty of nature that adorns life. Without flowers, Tet has no meaning. Therefore, flower decoration on the Tet holiday is also a need to beautify people's homes. In addition, it also has many meanings, on the altar of the ancestors, a ten thousand fortune tree with warm yellow flowers is also enough to express the owner's desire to live a long and reunited life. Those who are far away from home, busy with work for a whole year can't help but look forward to celebrating Tet with their family and going to the flower market with friends to reflect on old memories.

The custom of playing Tet flowers of Vietnamese people also depends on the region. If the North of Vietnam will buy branches of peach blossoms, go home on the Tet holiday. Peach blossoms usually bloom in early winter and spring. Before flowering, peach trees will lose their leaves and begin to defoliate after 1 month, peach flowers will bloom in single or double bunches and are about 2.5 cm to 3 cm in diameter. Peach blossoms come in many colors, from white to light pink or dark pink. The meaning of peach blossom on the Tet holiday is not only the bright color of flowers to decorate the room on Tet holiday, but also carries many meanings handed down from generations of Vietnamese people. Peach blossom is also a symbol of solidarity and loyalty. Peach blossom is full of human values, sending wishes for a new year full of cohesion and harmony between people. The pink color of peach blossom is considered to be the color that brings happiness, warmth, joy, faith, love, and hope for a peaceful and happy Tet.

People in the South of Vietnam will display apricot flowers on the days of the Lunar New Year. Apricot blossom tree usually only appears on the occasion of the Spring Festival, blooms only once in January. The apricot tree belongs to the family Ochnaceae, scientific name Ochna integerima also known as Hoang Mai tree, very popular on Tet holiday. Tradition in South Vietnam. In Vietnam, this flower is distributed naturally, most often in the forests of the Truong Son mountain range and in the provinces from Quang Nam, Da Nang to Khanh Hoa. This flower is also abundant in the mountainous areas of the Mekong Delta and also on the plateau, but the number is less. The apricot tree is a perennial plant, which can live for over a hundred years, with a large concave base, rough trunk, many branches, and alternate leaves. In the wild, apricot trees shed their leaves in winter and bloom in spring. The yellow color of apricot flowers has long been considered a symbol of wealth and prosperity. People display apricot flowers on New Year's Eve with the hope of a happy and prosperous new year.

Central Vietnam can be said to be the intersection and balance of both the North and the South. People in the central region will display many different kinds of flowers, such as apricot blossom and peach blossom. With many different flowers. In the central region, there is also a typical tree, which is displayed on the Tet holidays. That is the kumquat tree. The kumquat tree is native to Asia, China, and Japan. This plant has long been grown in Vietnam. The fruit of the kumquat tree is used by people to get water from the fruit and cure diseases. Today, the kumquat tree is also an ornamental plant. Many people love to use it as a bonsai tree, a tree to decorate Tet with many meanings. The tree will have many orange fruits, the taste of kumquats is quite sour, people make cough medicine, and sucking on kumquats is very good for the respiratory tract.

In addition, there are many different types of flowers at the Tet flower market. One of them must be named chrysanthemum. Not as special as the peach and apricot flowers, but every Tet to spring, the yellow chrysanthemum flower clusters still silently creep into the Tet flower market. It has existed for ages. Yellow chrysanthemums are often used to pay respects to ancestors and special days of the year. At the same time, these days are also an opportunity for generations of families to gather, gather, and gather together. Yellow chrysanthemums add coziness to the home atmosphere, bring good luck and close the distance between people.

There are also many different ornamental plants and flowers for sale at the stalls. What kind of flowers are you impressed with at this flower market?

At this flower market, I feel the most impressive is the apricot blossom tree costing 2 billion VND (equivalent to 90,000 US dollars). The price is overwhelming for a bonsai. This apricot tree is worth a house in Vietnam. The owner of this apricot tree is named Phong, from Gia Lai, every year he brings this flower to his stall at the flower market. This apricot tree was bought by his family 20 years ago and continues to take care of, so the life span of the apricot tree must also be around 100 years. The base of the apricot tree is quite large, the tree is nearly 3m high, and the apricot tree has attracted the attention of everyone coming to the flower market. Many people stopped and took souvenir photos with this supergiant apricot tree.

In addition, at this flower market, there is an equally impressive thing, that is, the tree stump has a small stone, which can be seen outside this stone is nothing special. The stone is also not a rare gem. Just an ordinary stone, found by the seller in a wild stream, the uniqueness of this stone in the middle of the stone in the shape of Bodhidharma, he is the propagator and founder. out to study Zen, along with Chinese art. This stone is only for sale by the seller to visitors, and he does not want to sell this work at any price. I am very impressed with this stone, surrounding the stone is surrounded by very beautiful wooden stumps.

The work of flower traders during the Lunar New Year is quite hard. When the farmers here have to watch flowers and sleep in tents. At night it is quite cold, living conditions are extremely poor. To grow these beautiful flowers, farmers have worked very hard for months to take care of the flowers. For many years, due to the influence of weather, flowers bloom early, causing them to lose sleep and eat and lose a lot of money. The flower market is still a traditional beauty for Vietnamese people every Lunar New Year.

Near the flower market, there is a monument to September 2, a 45m high monument with a majestic and steady appearance on the 2-9 road. The work is the heart of the people of Quang Nam - Da Nang to acknowledge the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed themselves in the cause of national liberation. The space here is spacious and airy, in front of the monument is March 29 Square, behind the monument is the Han River flowing through creating a very harmonious and charming landscape. In the afternoon, city people often exercise and relax in the green space here. In the days before Tet, flowers and ornamental plants of all kinds are displayed at this square. Monument 2-9 also attracts a lot of tourists who want to visit and take souvenir photos on the Tet holiday.
