Hello lovely people of Hive!
This is me again, meday.
And for today's blog , allow me to share the part one of my adventure at Litik or the Crack River.
Enjoy reading!
In the midst of the rain, the heavy traffic and the long walk on the way to the destination.
'twas the most difficult alley of the rural municipal of Murcia. The destination was located at Barangay Buenavista of Murcia Negros Occidental . A high place where you will be able to see the city from a far.
Our journey started when we rode the route of Murcia-Bacolod jeepney at the parking area near back-up six. As the jeepney started the engine, I already knew that I am really going in the rural area of the Municipal of Murcia. I was so excited and thrilled on how long the walk could be since my uncle has been talking about the long walk from last week. He said that you will walk for more or less an hour until you reach the house of my other auntie.
As we arrived in the city of Murcia, i was in awe of how clean the city and how busy the people who are walking back and forth about buying stuffs and products from the market. It was such a productive day where they are really making their city active of tradings in the industry. Indeed, productive people is the best asset of a productive city.
It was around two p.m. when we rode tricycle on the way to Barangay Buenavista , as we travel on the high way, you can already see the beautiful mountains and the tower of/for signal on the top of Mount Canlandog . The road was cemented not until we enter the last stop of it. It was so rough that the tricycle was shaking as it move as well as we who are the passenger. It was kind of rough but worth it. The ride stopped at the end of the cemented way called punta cemento . After we payed for the tricycle fee, we started to walk for almost an hour, yes an hour.
Although it was raining and the weather was a bit chilly, but that won't stop us from wandering up to our destination. We walked on the slimest alley wherein only a foot could fit. We also passed through beautiful but dangerous bridge made if bamboo and ropes. Though it was scary and i was not able to capture a photo, but my experience and feeling i felt was enough.
The moment we arrived at my auntie's house, i was really really tired. I felt like my whole system was giving up. But as i saw the view, the ache in my system slowly disappears. My eyes roam around the gorgeous view and it was phenomenal. Imagine waking up every morning seeing this kind of view.
This is one of the most interesting part of my trip at Buenavista. Me and my friends walked for almost an hour again on the way to the Crack River or in our term litik . 'Crack' is the english term for 'litik'. So basically speaking, it is a river made of cracks. Cracks from the cave where it possess the phenomenal view of cute 5 meters falls , around eight hundred squre meters of cave where the water falls, and about twenty feet in height of the cave. Also, the cave has this little cracks where some fresh water leaked from it . According to the people living there, the water is drinkable and it is pure fresh water from the nature.
As i arrived in the river, my jaw dropped because of it cleanliness and very natural in resources of water and tropical fruits. I swam with full happiness and satisfaction because all of my hardwork on walking and crossing scary bridge was paid off.
The river was divided into two, one is the Litik in general like the ne of the river and the first view you will notice when you enter , the second one is the cave behind it if you are courageous enough to wander inside it. Since we are Millenials and we love adventure, we entered the cave and swam there. Although people are saying that it was dangerous 'cause at something could happen because the cave has cracks and the pressure of how the water falls from that five meters is terribly strong.
After we entered the cave, we went back to the front of it. We climbed on the big rock and jumped on the water to go back at the front view of litik.
Right after we enjoyed the phenomenal experience at the crack river, we then planned to climbed up to the grass land.
But for now, this is the last part of my today's blog.
Thank you so much for your time in reading this blog, i hope you enjoyed and felt the feeling i had as i travelled on the way to the crack river. I hope one of this days you will be able to visit this place and enjoyed the beautiful nature that God has created.

The place is just so beautiful and therapeutic. It looks like Mr. Sun couldn't affect your skin because of dipped your skin into the fresh water and also your rashguard helped.
Indeed, i really covered my body HAHA. Though it's sunny and hot, but the water was really cold and refreshing so it's kinda balance in some ways☺️
