I'm not surprised to see people converting their HBD to Hive or HP during this season. Personally, I'm converting all my HBD to Hive, hoping for a potential price pump. I'm also considering flipping between coins based on Hive's price (buying and selling on the market, rather than converting, to avoid unnecessary inflation).
When comparing HP's 13.10% interest to HBD's 15%, the difference doesn't seem that significant, especially for a small stakeholder like me.
I feel we might see more people putting HBD into their savings by the end of the year or next year if Hive's price increases. Thanks for the update on HBD interest; I always look forward to your posts on this topic. Hopefully, you'll keep sharing more!
How are the 13.1 calculated? I think that´s simply wrong.
You made a good point here. Although the APR of staked HP is about 3.10% (according to Witnesses), the APR of curation may vary, which in most cases is lower than 10%.
The 13.10% APR heavily depends on a curator's chances of obtaining high rewards. Personally, I find this estimate too optimistic, since my curation APR typically ranges from 8.50% to 9.20%.
Thank you for bringing that up. 🙏
I am here since many years, and it never went higher then app. 9%.
I think it depends on one's voting style, as some people are able to achieve a 9% APR.
In addition to curation rewards, HP earns passive APR. It may be around 2%.
The APR is >3%, but this included you still don´t reach 13%
This is a very good argument and may be the most plausible explanation.
Thanks for the support 🙏
