With 20% APR for HBD Savings I would sell all my Hive and buy HBD

In response to @geekgirl ‘s awesome post about 20% APR on HBD

Here: https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@geekgirl/20-apr-for-hive-dollars-or-decentralization-in-action

Where else can you earn 20% these days ?

I think most people need to earn 20% just to keep up with the Cost of Living.

If the Interest payments on HBD gets increased to 20% I would definitely Power down 100% and sell all my Hive for HBD .

Let’s do this.

The LEO.voter APY looks very good also. Earn 16% with Delegation to @leo.voter

You could also earn 50% APR with the BYT token… paid out in Hive very 7 days.

Not something I would choose to do as what support are you giving your followers. If they all did that you would be screwed as no one would have any Hive Power to vote you. I think in moderation yes but all in there would be consequences.

Well… I get everything I post downvoted … so I have no choice. I think I’m done with blogging for money. I’m just doing it for fun now.

Ok that makes more sense then.

Yes. I’m an investor now. I will invest 100% into HBD and be happy earning 12-20% on my Investment.

B20. There is a good balance in everything, sharp steps can lead to the wrong steppe).

Possibly…. But I’m powering down to buy HBD.

Is it sustainable?

How would it play out over the long run i wonder.

It is very Risky.

Not sure… we will see

No it’s not in my opinion. There’s a reason it’s so high and it’s heavy risk. I love our community here but that said there is fair critical things to say about HBD. It’s going to be a target by governments and with this interest rate the Regulators are definitely coming to make trouble. I would rather have hive and no HBD personally. Way 2 much risk. But just my thinking 🤷🏼‍♂️.

I'm ready for 20%! The math is easier to do in my head.

I am selling all my Hive to buy HBD. I’m done with blogging on Hive. Since I started showing my support for the Ukraine I get all my posts downvoted to zero .

Oh my gosh, you too. What's this place coming to?

Every now and then I get attacked on Hive and have several thousand dollars removed… oh well. I will just buy HBD and earn 20% … it looks like Hive is not a good place for most bloggers. Who cares. I will be happy with HBD, BYT, LEO, Afit, HBD, POB, Bitcoin, Dtube, 3Speak , atom, etc etc…

The 20% is just a high target for regulators. I don’t like it at all. I don’t believe it will last. I believe HBD will only bring attention and put a 🎯 here. The chain is decentralized but this data is all public. The tax man will tax this beyond regular interest. Will be treated as income or a stock gain. I dunno I just don’t think this is a good sign. Just my take though

20% sounds interesting but need to back that up with solid marketing and promotions.

I will promote 20% like crazy on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube….

Yes this is very attractive.

I’m actually doing much better with the Leo.voter delegation…. 16% paid daily in LEO…

Daily compounding makes a huge difference.

With which periodicity are interested paid? Monthly, yearly...

Monthly

Hi, I would like report you this account https://wallet.hive.blog/@prozasst/transfers. This is an account in which one I'm somehow involved. You can notice that there are in savings $868.954 for almost two months. Never have interest paid, how that could be explained? Thanks in advance for any info.

Because you have zero Hive Backed Dollars (HBD) in your Savings. That is where you earn the 20% APR interest. Not in Hive or Hive Power.

I'm not talking about my account, I'm talking about @prozasst account. That sum in savings is there for almost two months.

You need to send a little HBd to savings each month to get the interest,
