You are welcome to do whatever you want with your stake. I would be curious to hear what your definition of "ruining" is. The idea is that the mechanism helps push the price of HIVE in the upwards direction, which actually helps to provide more rewards to content producers. The posts themselves are only taking a percentage of the total rewards pool. There is still quite a bit for content producers.

Laissez-faire AKA hands off, keep your dirty greedy fingers the fuck out of the reward pool, you have an idea great, the rest of us don't take it from others shares.
The rewards pool is a community directed fund. It is 100% up to the stakeholders to decide what to spend it on.
So are you telling me I actually need to show you the small circle of users who support your decision, I bet there is less than 10 admin voting for these posts with their auto voters following them.
We can start with @smooth and go down the list from there influence wise with a deep cross analysis of account affiliation for every vote you have. It's a minority and you are the Same dip shit who suggested we make a deal with Justin Sun, I'm not sure why anyone would trust you.
I realize this is a controversial effort, and there are a large number of users who are against it. Everyone has the right to use their stake however they want though, and there are several large stakeholders that I am in direct communication with who support the effort. I can't control people's auto voting, but users are allowed to use their stake that way if they wish.
I'm not sure what trust has to do with this. 100% of the funds are being directed back into the DAO. It is 100% verifiable on the blockchain. The only reason I am doing/supporting this is because I believe it is one of the best things we can do with the reward pool funds to increase the value of HIVE.
I was against freezing Justin Sun's stake. I did support blocking his account from voting for witnesses because of the security risk it posed to the chain, but I did not believe it was right for witnesses to freeze anybody's assets. That is still my position today. I have always believed that the best solution was for the two parties to try and work things out, and if that was not possible, then to go their separate ways (i.e. fork).
