Tamaralovelace I know the ordeal you are going through. Having worked in a hospital for over 30 years I know what it is like to hear all the beeps, see all the wires and lights and the coming and going of hospital personnel. I also understand about the baby steps.
I actually worked with intensive care patients and know that even the smallest movement is a great step for the patient. You have been such a trooper and it can be very tiring and hard. But you have that unbelievable spirit and determination to persevere and you will. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Rodney always!
I am sorry, some times my bot doesn't always alert me so I have to manually have to go through my follow list. Lady has been having a lot of accidents in the house day and night due to the chemo and steroids so it has gradually been wearing me down. So I am less efficient in keeping up. My deepest apologies.
Please take care Tamaralovelace. I am so glad that you are writing. It is good for the soul and heart! :D
Oh my goodness, yes. With your experience, you know what's going on then!. It can be so scary. I hold onto the hope and thoughts and prayers of all those who offer them. That, plus the love for my son, keeps me going.
Oh I feel for you, too, in taking care of Lady. You, too, must keep up your strength and not be too hard on yourself. You are so busy taking care of Lady, me and lots of other people...I guess the nursing never really leaves you <3
