Indeed its scared the living asian outta me when I saw that in Japan for the first time. Thought there were was a disease I missed on the news or something.

oh really? you should have got the mask to wear them in the city! I do that when I go to city :)
If it was an outbreak I would've caught it, so the mask would serve no purpose. The other thing I think is weird is, when I ask someone with a mask a question....I can't hear a world they're mumbling about, they take off the mask and repeats the answer then puts the mask back on.
..... Doesn't that defeats the purpose of putting on the mask in the first place? Lol
you are right! when people wear mask, you can not hear them well!
