Music can be a career or entertainment. For some it is a passion, for some, it is a medicine that helps to relax them. But I think no one can dislike music unless he/she had a bad experience with it. So coming to the topic, why music is considered as such an essential item in everyone’s lives. You may know something about how people exploit music to cure such as music therapy, which treats conditions like depression and anxiety.

A research team has come up with an experiment that says catching up with music like spending time in concerts of favourite bands once in two weeks could possibly expand your life expectancy. The study says enjoying just 20min at any your favourite live gig could accelerate feeling of wellbeing. Therefore, gig- going can help you live longer.

The gig experience increased participants feelings of wellbeing by 21% – with key markers across the happiness spectrum showing increases, including feelings of self-worth (+25%) and closeness to others (+25%) whilst mental stimulation climbed by an impressive 75%.

Music definitely a food to the soul in a unique way...personally it does leave a remarkable impact on me each time I am in the mood for music or even when I feel down.
I love music and especially from my favorite artists.

Music has saved my life many times!

A life without music, I don't consider as life. As you said, it helps comfort or process things. Music already helped me trough some rought times. It can move you, I often listen to music in my car an all of a sudden a certain song can move me so much that tears come from nowhere.,...Almost every post I posted on Steemit (and that are a lot) do have music in them as a important ingredient.... Thanks for this post, prove of the strength of music....

So, if they had played music during the days of the Spanish Inquisition, those being tortured might have felt better about it? (Lol)

I'm willing to believe that :)

Music is not just the spice of life,It is life to me.
When I'm done with a very annoying and stressful day all I need is a quick shower and very cool music and I'm fine.
If I'm ill or depressed, all I need is some very real music to stimulate my soul and I'm all fine.
I'm yet to see the situation music can't improve..
