Good health can easily be taken for granted if one does not appreciate its importance, and the world can only know you appreciate good health when you take proper care of your health. looking at places like america that is the most medicalised in the world, more attention should be paid on prevention than CORRECTIVE medicinal approaches.
Whenever the question pops up "How do we achieve a world with less drugs" the average man would suggest training of more doctors, employment of more nurses, or building more hospitals, or even getting more drugs. But are these the real issues or solutions? the world is changing really fast and we are beginning to understand that we must move along with it.
my suggestion to this subject matter, is that we look at the solution to this at a superior level. what actually brought us here, why did we fall sick in the first place, what's the cause. We must think differently, the world has got to move from corrective medicine to preventive measures.
ONE OF THE MAJOR CAUSE OF HEALTH ISSUES IN OUR SOCIETY TODAY, IS THE PROBLEM OF POOR NUTRITION

- NUTRITIONAL GAPS - We must pay more attention to nutrition. because nutrients are natural biochemicals designed by God to keep man healthy. Researchers, nutritionists has told us that man can stay healthy from the point of birth to the point of death without falling ill, if only man can stay on 90 essential nutrients daily. Here is the break down (60essential minerals, 16essential vitamins, 12 essential amino acids, 2essential fatty acids)
MOVING FROM CORRECTIVE TO PREVENTIVE

- ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES - We must live in healthier environments to avoid illnesses which in turn compel us to stay on medication. this is peculiar to mainly africa and middle east. I understand its almost like a culture, but we must consciously carve out our niche and keep it extremely net

- OVER POPULATION - the more people we have in the world, the more people fight for fewer resources, the more and more stress people get in their lives and this will definitely lead to so much stress and depression that'll in turn require a lot of drugs for correction.
All i'm asking, is that we close the tap, instead of mop the floor. prevention is better and way cheaper than cure.
