I say yes to beans and no to soy! Soy has many anti-nutrients that can mess up hormone balance. All my milk glands in my breasts always swell when I eat soy. Hurts so much! So no soy for me ;) And most vegans get enough protein... all plants have protein... you just have to eat enough of them! It's b12, iron, and zinc that we have to be careful of.
