Hi friends!
Today I want to invite you back into my kitchen to hang out with me while I make another cake!
Of course this has nothing really to do with my usual fitness-related posts at all, but I LOVE to bake - especially big, happy cakes for the people that mean the most to me!
So I hope you’ll join me while I put together a crazy, intensely rich, all-things-chocolate cake for my brother’s birthday :)
Here’s what it’s made of:
Triple chocolate brownie layers
Semi-sweet chocolate whipped American buttercream filling with mini chocolate chips
Triple chocolate cake layers
Milk chocolate ganache frosting
Chocolate marshmallow dream bars (aka cocoa-rice-krispy treats with extra marshmallow chunks!)

And here’s the inside… LOTS of chocolate!
I’ll say that it turned out pretty good, but definitely was not my favorite cake I’ve ever made… I tried a few things I’d never done before, and they didn’t turn out quite as well as I wanted. But it’s the thought that counts, right? :)

Each birthday, each festival closes with something sweet, a cake, and individuals ... Let be honest, a decent smooth chocolate cake completes a ton for many individuals ...
